Anastasia earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco and Dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Ethnic Studies from San Jose State University.
Anastasia is a licensed bilingual (English and Spanish) Marriage and Family Therapist with over eight years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, families, groups and individuals. Anastasia has extensive experience in a variety of specializations such as: Addiction, Adolescent and Teens, Anger Management, Anxiety, Depression, Ethnic Identity, Family Relational Issues, Mood Disorders, PTSD, Self Esteem and Women’s Issues. Anastasia has worked as a Program Coordinator at a drug and alcohol treatment center located in Orange County for over two years and has worked with several non-profits and community mental health programs serving underprivileged and at-risk populations for a majority of her career. Through collaborative work with Anastasia, she aims to empower her clients towards the path of forgiveness, acceptance, self awareness, and healing so that they may live fulfilled, joyful and gratifying lives.
Navigating through our life journey can be challenging, but also very rewarding with every lesson learned and new opportunities for growth. Anastasia truly believes every person can benefit from a safe space without judgment and bias and every person has the inner strengths needed in order to get them through this journey we call life. Anastasia’s purpose and passion is to help clients identify their personal strengths, instill hope, and aid her clients in reclaiming their genuine and purposeful life.
