Co-parenting

We live in a time where families are suffering from separations and divorce. As a result, it requires co-parenting, which is not always easy when the parents do not get along. The key to co-parenting is as follows:

  1. What’s in the best interest of the child/children
  2. Do not punish the child/children, because of your issues with your ex
  3. The importance of having a united front for the child/children emotional growth
  4. Make decisions regarding each individual child collectively as parents
  5. Try to see the world from a child’s perspective
  6. Discipline with love not anger
  7. Love is unconditional
  8. It’s okay for child/children to love both parents equally

Definition of Being a Parent is a role that can bring you great joy and happiness, as well as challenges to deal with. There are many ways to be a parent. For the most part the law allows parents to bring up children according to their own values and beliefs, as long as child/children’s welfare is taken care of.
